This article outlines the development, implementation and impact of the Center of Technology in Education located in an Institution of Higher Education. Larwood and Gattiker (1999) argue that centers must be committed to making an impact on everyday public practice. The mission of the CTE is to promote innovation through teaching, research, policy, and outreach to K-12 schools through long-term partnership building.
