Peggy Pelonis she earned a BA in English literature and psychology. She received an MS degree from California State University, Fullerton and after training with some of the most noteworthy professionals in the field of psychology; she received her Marriage, Family Child license from the State of California, as well as her school Certification. While at California State Fullerton, Peggy Peonies received the “Outstanding student Award” as well as the Research Award from the State of California for her work in Psychotherapy. Upon graduation, she was invited to return to Fullerton as a lecturer of Counseling Psychology while also directing the family unit at Chino Community Services. Currently is a doctoral in Education candidate at the University of Bath.
In Greece, Peggy Pelonis has been the founder of ISOS Counseling and Education center in Athens, which specializes in “Change” and “Trauma”. She is also a National Certified Psychologist and holds a diploma in clinical Hypnosis. Her work on Coping with Change has been cited in journals, magazines and books. She is the author of numerous journal articles, chapters, magazine & newspaper articles and two books “Change in the journey of life” Fytraki publications Athens, 2001 and “Yparho Allazo” (Existing, Changing) Isorropon publications, Athens 2006. Peggy Pelonis is a psychotherapist trainer, training professionals from all over the world, a frequent guest lecturer in conferences and a guest speaker on TV and radio. At ACS since 1993, she believes that students are her greatest teachers and feels honored to be part of the changes in their lives, while having the opportunity to guide them.
